Dr. Osamah Abdullah Barasheed MBBS, MPH, PhD. Deputy Chief Public Health Officer in Makkah Healthcare Cluster Director of Hajj and Umrah Health Research Administration, King Abdullah Medical City, Makkah, Saudi Arabia Dr Barasheed completed his training in public health and preventive medicine at The University of Sydney, Australia. He is interested in prevention of infectious diseases specially in mass gathering events such as Hajj. Also, he is interested in health promotion and presented some projects related to public health and health education on YouTube and other social media platforms to enhance the population's health awareness and knowledge. From academic and research perspective, Dr Barasheed published more than 30 peer reviewed articles in the area of Public Health and Hajj health related illnesses.
