Dr. Abdullah Alismail is a medical educator, clinician, and researcher specializing in respiratory care, pulmonary medicine, and medical education. He serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Medicine, School of Medicine at Loma Linda University, and as an Associate Professor in the Department of Cardiopulmonary Sciences at Rush University in Chicago. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and serves on the editorial boards of several leading journals. Dr. Alismail is a Fellow of the American College of Chest Physicians (CHEST), the American Association for Respiratory Care, and the American Thoracic Society. He received the 2024 Early Career Clinician Educator Award from CHEST in recognition of his leadership, scholarship, and global contributions to pulmonary medicine and health-professions education.
