This workshop introduces medical educators to the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in academic, clinical, and professional domains. Overview of AI definitions, types (Narrow, Generative, General), and safety principles (UNESCO, 2023). Key terms: Generative AI, LLMs, Prompt Engineering.

AI enhances curriculum design, teaching, assessment, and student engagement. Includes content creation, editing, presentation tools, and academic integrity checks.
4. Prompt Engineering for Effective Use of AI
Explains how to craft clear, specific, and bias-free prompts. Includes a hands-on Slido activity for creating domain-relevant prompts.
5. AI in Research and Data Analysis
AI tools streamline literature review (Connected Papers, Litmaps), referencing (Mendeley, Zotero), writing (Grammarly, QuillBot), and statistical analysis.

Applications in radiology, pathology, dermatology, and surgery. Example tools include Aidoc, PathAI, Butterfly iQ, Viz.ai, and Dragon Medical.

Focuses on addressing bias, privacy, transparency, and accountability per UNESCO’s ethical AI guidelines.
